Networking Field Day 14

Its always a privilege to participate in Tech Field Day events and Network Field Day 14 in January 18–20, 2017 in Silicon Valley. So much information is a short space of time make it the most efficient method to learn about new products, technology and vendor strategies. Without doubt, you will find the most exciting vendors appearing here (and on Packet Pushers, of course) and they will give their best pitch to a group of people just like you.

Six vendors so far, Barefoot Networks, Big Switch, Kentik, Nyansa, Riverbed and Silverpeak. Its going to range from silicon, analytics, security and, the hottest networking technology, SD-WAN.

I can’t believe that this is 14th event focussed on networking. Things might be changing slowly but they are changing.

Viptela FutureWAN’17 Virtual Summit

Viptela are holding a virtual summit from Jan 16-20th with four days of SD-WAN sessions delivered online. Ethan and I are hosting a session at 0900PST. Sign up to hear us host a discussion about the operational experiences of running a SD-WAN.
